Website and newsletters
A good website is at the heart of any school’s communication – reaching out to parents and students as well as people in the surrounding community.
I worked closely with senior staff to create a website for this new school, developing a clear structure and writing content that reflected the school’s ethos and ambition. I continue to keep the site fresh by adding and updating content, including the latest news about students’ achievements.
I also write and produce a four-page termly newsletter which is circulated to parents and also in the wider community. The school is now in the top 18% of schools in England and Wales for student progress.
